The Fab 'n' Fix Safe T-Bar / Ventilation Lock works just like a door chain, allowing you to leave windows and doors open when you need to, for example to let air in the house, but without worrying about someone opening the window fully and gaining entry to your home.
The Safe T-Bar is designed especially for fitting to PVCu windows.
It benefits from increased strength, an ease of use and a shaping styling, which complements existing products within the range - such as the Sash Jammer.
The Safe T Bar is non-handed, suitable for open in or open out doors. Packers are supplied to compensate for differing heights between leaf and jamb profiles.
One part fits onto the opening sash of the door with two screws (do not fix in a position where there may be a gearbox of the mechanism behind) and the other part fixes to the door frame with four screws.
